The region’s biggest Indian Motorcycle event of May/June time frame is right around the corner! What is IRIP? IRIP was started many moons ago. The “bike gathering in Missouri ” ( how it was originally referred to ) initially started as an event attended mainly by the IIRA. In fact, it’s been stated its “always been a sanctioned IIRA event. ” Its not hosted by the IIRA, but none of would have happened without the IIRA. There is some ‘deep’ history to the specifics of exactly how everything transpired, but know that if you go, you’ll be rolling into a small gathering ( if you consider 200-300 small ) of folks, that love their Indian Motorcycles and looking to spend a week together riding and having a great time on-site there. All this being said, time brings changes; relationships and organization memberships change. Though the IIRA is not at the ‘base’ of it this year ( though there in numbers), the IRIP is celebrating it’s 12th Annual event, and it should be another great one. Hundreds of people attend, predominantly on Indian Motorcycles (though all bikes are welcomed). It’ll be attended mainly by folks belonging to the IIRA, IMRG and IOA. And of course, open to folks that don’t belong to any group/association or MC. It’s been called a ‘family home coming‘ by many. This year, will be the same for many attending. Hope to see you there!
